Região Norte

A mais conhecida característica da Região Norte é a Floresta Amazônica (mesmo que não esteja presente em todos os estados desta região e que vá muito além das fronteiras brasileiras). Os sete estados aqui são: Tocantins (TO), Pará (PA), Amapá (AP), Roraima(RR), Amazonas (AM) Acre (AC) e Rondônia (RO). / The most known characteristic of the Região Norte is the Amazon Forest (even if it is not present in all states of this region and the forest limits go much further than the Brazilian borders). Rio Branco (AC) – O território acriano/acreano era parte da Bolívia, mas no início do século XX seus habitantes decidiram fazer parte da federação brasileira. / The “acriano/acreano” territory was part of Bolivia, but in the beggining of the XXth century its inhabitants decided to become part of the Brazilian federation.
